Radian B Sport micro site & banner campaign
William Ransom & Son plc is the UK’s oldest independent pharmaceutical company. Principally involved in the production of liquid pharmaceuticals and the extraction of plant material for the healthcare, food, beverage and cosmetic industries. Ransom’s Consumer Healthcare Division was established in 2000 in order to build on the company’s unique combination of botanical and pharmaceutical expertise. Brands include Radian B, Metanium, Valderma, Valpeda, Pavacol-D, Snufflebabe, Mijex, Fiery Jack and Wartex.
Having acquired the Radian B brand from Roche products, Ransom embarked on a programme of investment that included the launch of a Sport variant of the popular muscle relief product.
Aimed at the sporting community, research revealed that sports men and women are particularly active online, becoming involved in clubs and online communities. To address this a micro site and banner campaign was developed to support the offline launch activity. experience engine worked with media buyer media.com to deliver a strongly branded launch campaign based around the creative treatment of “essential kit for your sports bag”.
Visitors to the micro site were presented with advice on warming up and down before and after taking part in sport, an overview of the Radian B Sport range and the opportunity to apply for a money off coupon for their first purchase. To help promote the brand’s sporting credentials, a programme of sponsorship was also highlighted on the site.
